The Meyer Straights are five guys originally from Schuylkill County, PA who grew up playing music in the local scene. The band takes it's roots from indie, rock, and pop. The music started out showcasing the song writing of Nick Meyer playing his songs alone opening up gigs and playing open mic nights. Since then the music has grown to be bigger and with that the need for other band members emerged. Drew Pavlick, Danny Zyk and Josh Iverson were brought on to record on the freshman effort of Meyer's brain child, while the current live line up consists of Meyer on vocals, guitar and harmonica; Pavlick on keys; Zyk on bass; Nick Mac on guitar and Jon Hand on drums.
